I just started a new job at the beautiful Hilton Garden Inn off Highway 5 just south of downtown Redding off the Bonnieview Exit. It is a hotel that is less than a year old and has one of the most spectacular views I've seen in this area.
Scott has finished his appraisal courses and passed the school tests on those. now he is finishin a class on ethics and the school he took the course from will get his state exam scheduled. His Mentor and our long time friend, Bruce Marelich is already teaching him the basic's of the field.
At present he is learning to do the drawings of the floor plans etc. for the reports.
Spring Is Here In Redding, Shasta County Very Green
Spring is finally here in Shasta County and the city of Redding, Ca., even though there my still be some rain storms in our future. Winter in California is much like the spring in the rest of the country, because that is when California is green. When the wild flowers bloom, and the oak trees get their leaves back, that is Spring in California.
The snow is still on Mount Shasta, Mount Lassen and other tall mountians that ring the Redding area, but the mountain pass roads will be open soon and people will be starting to enjoy the summer activities that are so plentiful in this area.
