An untrained artist, or self trained, depending on your educational background, is a Hyper-Realist in the face of the modernist. Born just days before the Roswell incident, July 5, 1947, just a few hundred miles north of the saucer crash site. He is one of a family of amateur artists who each has their own style and approach.
